PureULTRA UF modules are constructed using highly hydrophilic modified PVDF hollowfiber membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.025 micron. The outside-in flow configurationcontributes to easier cleaning as it keeps the solids, pathogens, and other foulants on theoutside of the fibers. The fiber is designed to handle most feed water sources and toleratesolids loadings while operating within an optimal flux range. It rejects particulate matter,Giardia cysts, and Cryptosporidium oocysts, and can helps in virus removal.

ULTRADYN modules are available with polyethersulfone (PES), polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and cellulose tri-acetate (CTA) hollow fiber membrane types and in configurations that can be sterilized with hot water up to 98 °C, eliminating bacterial growth and preventing fouling.
